After being recommended to Blue Sky Systems back in 2015, we began working with Our Lady of Sion when they were looking to upgrade their Server infrastructure and backup.
'Our Lady of Sion is an independent day school located in the heart of Worthing. The school is part of a worldwide network of schools and colleges founded by the sisters of Our Lady of Sion. The school was founded in 1862 and, whilst proud of our heritage, we are a very forward-looking, vibrant and dynamic institution. Our community is diverse, and we welcome staff and pupils from all faiths and none, from a variety of cultures and traditions.’
Like so many of our customers, they found they were spending far too much time trying to identify and resolve issues with their IT, so they called upon our expertise to help them proactively update and replace their system to allow them to start moving forward and avoid the cycle of issues they were constantly facing.

As a highly successful school, they needed a state-of-the-art IT system to deliver their teaching, and to ensure the smooth running of the administration of the school.
Karen went on to say “We upgraded the Wi-Fi across the site and this has improved connectivity in the 6th form area. This allows students to bring in their own devices and use them for extended study. It will hopefully also support a longer-term objective to provide mobile devices within the school”
After suffering a malware/ransomware incident Blue Sky Systems were able to recover the affected systems from cloud backup quickly and easily and Karen noted that “it was dealt with swiftly and professionally”.
Overall, Karen has been pleased with how we have worked together to make a positive change within the school;
